The Last of Us Portraits, Part I

Collaborated with a couple great voice actor friends in creating The Last of Us inspired portraits. I asked both to take photos of themselves in poses that would dictate the composition. Then took their references into Adobe Fresco and let the transformation take place. These are digital pieces painted by me using a mixture of pixel, vector and oil/watercolor mimicking brushes. Enjoy the little details peppered throughout, I especially loved the use of color and volume :). There is a painterly quality on the infected where the encounter is leaning more a graphic style.

Leah and Hunter did a phenomenal job on their characters and it was so much fun working with them. I’m so grateful for their time and talent.
